| The Marty: A Montrose Art Party May 4 - May 11 |
| Art League Houston is excited to invite the public to our annual fundraising event The Marty: A Montrose Art Party, on Friday, May 4, from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. The event benefits Art League's Healing Art program, which provides free art instruction and supplies to adults living with serious illness and physical disabilities. Entry to the event is free. This year's theme is the 1980's so get ready to boogie along with the DJ to your favorite 80's tunes, while delighting in delicious treats by Butter & Co. and tasty beverages from Saint Arnold Brewing Company, Tito's Handmade Vodka and Inversion Coffee House. An 80's-style photo booth created by popular Houston Street artist Daniel Anguilu will be on-site, equipped with party props supplied by Arne's Warehouse, ready for you and your friends to have fun! The event will feature a selection of artwork for sale by Healing Art students, and Art League Houston's Studio School students in the Main and Project Galleries, as well as an exciting silent auction with items such as an iPad and artwork by Daniel Anguilu up for grabs. A portion of the artwork and concession proceeds will help support Art League Houston's Healing Art program.
