You will not want to miss these! #1 - 7623 River Point Drive- Riverbend This award winning home was designed by Preston Bolton and Howard Barnstone in 1955. Deep screened and covered deck overlooks a forestlike setting, yet sits in the middle of one of Houston's finest neighborhoods. Bedrooms open up to bricked in courtyards. Floorplans and a 1959 Architectural Record Article will be available for your perusal. Preston Bolton himself may be there, and will be available to potential buyers to answer questions about the house. Very few Bolton and Barnstone designs still exist in such original condition so don't miss it. #2 - 5307 Huckleberry- Tanglewood This 1954 house by Architect Arne Engberg exemplifies the mid-century ranch archetype so prevalent in the original Tanglewood homes. The low scale street facade has many characteristics of Frank Lloyd Wright's Prairie School while a sympathetic addition to the rear of the house by Architect Lucian Hood expanded both the living and sleeping quarters with a very modern plan open to the pool and surrounding landscape.
