| "Por Amor al Arte" juried exhibition at Elder Street Gallery on September features work of 12 Texas Latin artists, Houston is hot in the summertime. No doubt about it. This is especially true of Houston's art scene. Experience the heat of this creative fire for yourself when Elder Street Gallery presents "Por Amor al Arte" on Saturday, September 17, from 5-9 p.m. A juried exhibition, -"Por Amor al Arte" features the work of Texas Latin artists. The exhibition's artist call was posted nationally and throughout the state of Texas in order to ensure the most diverse submissions possible in terms of style, medium, subject and genre that reflect the theme "Por Amor al Arte" Participating artists include: Aberto Godoy, ElizabethCencini, Julie Zarate, Lilibeth André, Alexandra Jicol, Jonatan Lopez, Pedro Guevara, Pedro Guevaraand, Luzmarie Alvarez , Javier López Cantú, Anna-Marie Lopez and, Lynet Saldana McDonald. "Por Amor al Arte" will be on view from September 17 , 2011, through September 25, 2011. The exhibition is free of charge and open to the public. |
